Genuine Half Sovereign set in a solid 9ct or 18ct yellow gold is not only a statement of sophistication but an heirloom to be passed down. 

The half sovereign was first introduced in 1544 under Henry VIII.

Traditionally the half sovereign is an English and later a British / Commonwealth gold coin with a value of half a pound sterling, or ten shillings.

It is half the weight of its counterpart 'full' sovereign coin it a more affordable option

Depending on the date range generally 1900 to 1920 most minted in the  United Kingdom occasional minted in Australia.
